Bongumusa Zuma Death – ANC’s Comrade Lost His Life In Terrible Accident
The Eastern Cape released a condolence message to the family of Bongumusa Zuma who was reported to have lost his life in a fatal car accident on June 2023.
Excerpts from the condolence message read below:-
The ANC is hereby extending its heartfelt condolences to the Zuma family, TVET sector, and comrades who benefited from the selfless and heroic leadership that was always demonstrated by Comdrade Bongumusa Zuma.
According to the information we received Dr. Bonga Zuma passed on with his friend in the fatal crash. They were said to be driving in Swaziland when the incident happened.
A video circulating online showed the car Bongumusa Zuma was driving on dumped in a scrap yard in Gonubie was damaged beyond repair.
A Twitter user who was at the accident scene claimed Dr. Bonga hit a tree.
The second video is from a scrap yard in Gonubie, east London! Just drove past the tree he hit a matter of minutes ago! It was purely speed, happened very early hours of the morning coming up from the Gonubie Hotel! Reports are 2, unfortunately, died in the crash.

Bongumusa Zuma’s Facebook profile says he studied Biotechnology at Rhodes University and was a former Postdoctoral researcher at the same institution. He is happily married has two kids.
