Liam Waldron Victim Of Stabbing Incident, Man Stabbed To Death In Leicester Identified

RIP flooded the social media after a stabbing incident that happened in Leicester today.

The victim of the stabbing incident in the early hours of today in Leicester has been identified as Liam Waldron.

According to information released by Leicestershire police, the incident happened close to the junction with Melton Road shortly after midday on Thursday (June 15). Officers attended with paramedics from the East Midlands Ambulance Service

Further reports from the police stated that the man was pronounced dead a short time later.

The motive of the stabbing is not yet known as no arrest has been made.

Detective Chief Inspector Mark Sinski, from the East Midlands Special Operations Unit’s (EMSOU) major crime team, said: “Our investigation is very much in its early stages and I’m appealing for anyone who was in the area of Gipsy Road or Melton Road shortly before or after midday to come forward. I’m particularly keen to hear from motorists with dashcams or anyone with CCTV footage. Anything you’re able to provide could greatly help our ongoing investigation.”
