‘She’s so cool’ – Kelly Rowland gushes over Uncle Waffles

Popular South African music artist and DJ Uncle Waffles, real name Lungelihle Zwane, is in the headlines because she is already in America this year at Coachella in California, which has piqued the interest of former Destiny Child member Kelly Rowland.

Kelly praised Uncle Waffles as a nice personality whose brand of music has taken South African music and the world by storm in an exclusive interview on the Pretty Smart podcast on May 18th.

Kelly said : “I love music. I listen to music all the time … It’s really cool to see artists come up with new ways — like there’s this really cool DJ out right now, her name is Uncle Waffles and she’s got so much personality … she’s so cool, she just played at Coachella but I’ve been knowing about this girl for at least a year now.”

‘The Queen of Amapiano’  is taking the world by storm and her career has skyrocketed before her fan’s eyes. She has managed not only to get huge gigs in Africa but also to get booked internationally and get to rub shoulders with the A-listers in other countries.
