Thobile Skhosana | Missing Limpopo Woman Found Dead, Suspect Arrested

The search for a missing Limpopo woman who went missing on December 31 2022 has been halted. The 26-year-old woman identified as Venolia Thobile Skhosana has been reported dead.
According to the information gathered her decomposed body was found dumped in the Khathazweni river outside of Hlogotlou.
The victim from Matsitsi outside Groblersdal was a student at Unisa.
The police opened a missing person file immediately at the Hlogotlou Police Station.
Initial investigations indicated that the victim was last seen in the Zaaiplaas police district village of Holnek. She was present at a function.
Information obtained was operationalized by a team led by Lieutenant Colonel Ntoane Masuku, commander of Hlogotlou Station. This resulted in the suspect’s arrest and the body’s finding.

A 40-year-old man whose identity still remains unknown was arrested for the kidnapping and murder of Venolia Skosana.
The suspected is expected to appear in the Nebo Magistrate’s court tomorrow, Friday 6 January 2023. He will be facing charges of Kidnapping and murder.
Thobile Skhosana, a member of the Limpopo EFF, was found dead and abandoned in the early hours of Thursday at the settlement of Sehlakwane.
She was kidnapped, raped, and strangled to death, allegedly by a neighborhood resident of Matsitsi village approximately a week ago.
