Missing five Year-Old Found Dead, Missing Body Parts

According to authorities, a five-year-old kid who had been reported missing was found dead and disfigured on an open veld in Centurion on Monday.

On Sunday, Ofentse Poopedi’s body was discovered.

Two suspects, Moses Bokaba, 35, and Joseph Puseletso, 52, who had been detained in connection with the boy’s kidnapping, are now accused of murder, according to police spokeswoman Lt. Col. Mavela Masondo.

Masondo claimed that on Tuesday, August 9, after the youngster went missing earlier that day from the Tswelopele Section of Ivory Park, community members had captured the two suspects and brought them to the police.

The Poopedi’s neighbor is named Bokaba.

According to the police, the neighbor is thought to have left his home with the youngster at around 10.30 am. At around 5 o’clock that afternoon, he allegedly left his house again without the boy.

On Friday, August 12, 2022, “the two suspects appeared at Thembisa magistrate’s court,” he stated.

Masondo said that as the police investigation goes on, more suspects may be detained.
