Seems like South African celebrities are battling a lot in their life but are holding it back from people to know.
South African singer and songwriter, Zanda Zakuza a few days ago made a live video chat through her official Instagram page where she opened up about her struggle with depression.
The singer through the video chat with fans revealed that she battled with the issue for over a year. In her words, she said she chose to wallow in her sadness longer than she needed to.
According to her, the depression was caused by one unfortunate incident. She said it was one bad moment that needs to last a short while and she dragged it for over a year.
She advised her fans not to stay sad too long.

“I had a little dabble in depression and anxiety. I feel I let one unfortunate incident last forever. I chose to wallow in my sadness longer than I needed to. It was one dead moment that needed to last a short while but went over a year,” she said.
“Sometimes it’s hard to pull yourself out of sadness … but we forget that the world continues with or without you. The world continued while I was sad about something I could not control. The world was happening to me…”
Similarly, a few days ago Samthing Soweto also publicly revealed that he also battled depression.
