Dean Saunders Suggests A Premier League Club For Bale To Join After Leaving Real Madrid
Dean Saunders, a former Liverpool striker, has pushed Gareth Bale to join Newcastle United in the Premier League this summer after leaving Real Madrid.
Newcastle United, according to Saunders, would be the ideal club for Bale to join, with the Magpies having a project that the former Tottenham Hotspur star would fit into.
Bale’s contract with Real Madrid will expire next month, and he will become a free agent.
“If I had to pick a club for him [Bale], I’d suggest Newcastle,” Saunders told talkSPORT.
They have a project; they are on the right track — he would fit right in.
“Right now, the fans in Newcastle because I’ve been there and worked there — and I know how passionate they are.”
