Victor Osimhen was hailed by the Confederation of African Football (CAF) after scoring four goals in Nigeria’s 2023 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against Sao Tome on Monday afternoon.
The Super Eagles were at their most lethal, scoring ten goals against the Falcons.
Following a wonderful cross from Moses Simon, Osimhen opened the floodgates for the Super Eagles in the ninth minute, and added three more goals in the second half.
With five goals in the qualifications, the 23-year-old is now the leading scorer.
