Harry Kane, a striker for Tottenham Hotspur, has stated that the entrance of Erling Haaland and Darwin Nunez in the Premier League will drive him to improve as a player next season.

The transfer of Haaland from Borussia Dortmund to City was finalized on Monday.

Benfica has also stated that Liverpool and Benfica have agreed on a contract for Nunez to join the Portuguese club.

Last summer, Kane expressed interest in joining City, but Spurs chairman Daniel Levy turned down any offers from the Premier League champions.

“The race for the Golden Boot is always tough,” Kane said when asked if Haaland and Nunez landing in England will make it harder to top the goalscoring rankings. For several years, the Premier League has produced some of the best strikers in the world.

“You expect top strikers to want to play in the Premier League, and that will be the case with those two new arrivals.” It is beneficial. It benefits me as a player to have healthy competition because it motivates me to improve and improve. So I’m looking forward to the task.

“First and foremost, I try to concentrate on myself. I set goals and objectives for myself at the start of each season.I want to reach. I try not to focus too much on other players in that aspect.”
