Andy Fletcher Death – Musician, Andy Fletch Is Dead

The world has once again lost another legendary and talented music star, Andrew John Leonard Fletcher. According to information released today in an official press release, the musician passed away today May 26, 2022, at the age of 60.

Circumstances surrounding his death have not been made known to the public.

The news of his death was confirmed in an official statement released on social media by his bandmate, Depeche Mode.

The statement read below:-

We are shocked and filled with overwhelming sadness with the untimely passing of our dear friend, family member, and bandmate, Andy “Fletch” Fletcher.

Fletch had a true heart of gold and was always there when you needed support, a lively conversation, a good laugh, or a cold point.

Our hearts are with his family, and we ask that you keep them in your thoughts and respect their privacy in this difficult time.

Who Was Andrew Fletcher? Few Things You Need To Know Abou Him!

Andy Fletch born Andrew John Leonard Fletcher was one of the founding members of the electronic band Depeche Mode. He was notably known as a Keyboard player and Deejay.

Born to the family of late John Fletcher on 8 July 1961, Fletcher was the eldest of four siblings.

In the late 1970s, Fletcher and schoolmate Vince Clarke formed the short-lived band No Romance in China, in which Fletcher played bass guitar.

In 1980, Fletcher met Martin Gore at the Van Gogh pub on Paycocke Road in Basildon. With Clarke, the trio, now all on synthesizer, formed another group called Composition of Sound.
