The 17-year-old boy involved in Shelton’s Saturday night stabbing has been identified as Jimmy Mcgrath.
According to the police report, the stabbing incident which took the life of 17-year-old Jimmy and injured others was triggered by a fight in Shelton Saturday night.
Emergency responders were dispatched to Laurel Glen Drive at 11:55 p.m. on a report of a dispute and stabbing.
When police arrived, they saw a large group of adolescents outside of a house. Four stabbing victims were found and taken to the hospital, according to police.
One of the casualties, police claimed, was a 17-year-old guy who was later pronounced dead. The victim attended Fairfield College Preparatory School as a junior.
A statement released by Fairfield Prep confirmed that Jimmy Mcgrath passed away from the injuries he sustained from the brutal stabbing.
