Williams’ RICO accusations derive from an alleged criminal incident in January 2013, according to prison records, while the gang activity allegations date from May 2018.
Atlanta police have taken the popular rapper into jail, but the agency has not disclosed any information regarding the arrest. A police representative inquired directly with the Fulton County Attorney’s Office.
Meanwhile, Donovan Thomas was tragically murdered outside a barbershop in Atlanta on January 10, 2015, according to Heavy, with further information from a WSB-TV piece from the time. According to the news agency, two more persons were shot and injured.
Thomas was 26 years old when he died. Another guy in his twenties and a 14-year-old child were both wounded in the leg, according to the report. The incident happened on McDaniel Street in the Castleberry Hill area on a Saturday night. The shooting was characterized by police as a drive-by shooting.
The shooting, according to witnesses, was carried out using a semiautomatic handgun.
The Fulton County prosecutor’s office did not reply to a request for further information from the Atlanta Journal-Constitution.
