Liverpool manager, Jurgen Klopp, has accused the Tottenham Hotspur team of wasting much time in their yesterday’s Premier League clash that ended in a 1-1 draw.

With the result of the game, the possibility of Liverpool clinching the Premier League trophy is now slim as the Machester City with the matches left for them to play will take up a three-point gap on Sunday.

Klopp’s side appeared lifeless in attack, with Trent Alexander-Arnold and Andy Robertson launching a slew of hopeful crosses into the penalty box but unable to find the target.

Despite their superior possession, Spurs arguably had the better opportunities.

Luis Diaz equalized with 20 minutes left after Son Heung-min put the visitors ahead.

While reacting to the outcome of the match, Klopp accused the Tottenham team of wasting time, saying that he don’t like the kind of football they play.

“For all the praise for Tottenham, they won against City – the gameplay works for these games but they are still fifth and for everything they were time-wasting – it makes not easier, it’s smart but not easy.”
