The storm is over and South African rapper & businessman Cassper Nyovest is recalling back how he survived the lockdown.

Cassper in a series of tweets through his official Twitter page thanked God for being the source of his survival during the Covid-19 tough times.

He wondered how he survived the lockdown and kept his cars and homes and acknowledged that there must be a living God.

As the government urged people to stay at home until the virus was suppressed, the rapper and other musicians whose revenue was based on performances and other outdoor activities went bankrupt.

Things are gradually returning to normal after two years, but Cassper reflected on the lockdown and how he managed to survive.

In a series of tweets, he wrote:-

Rolex stopped making watches and Zara closed 1000 stores cause of the corona Virus. Imagine Cassper Nyovest with such a demanding lifestyle he chose. Hape rea vorsta jo!! Tryna to show the black child it’s possible through our lives to keep beating the odds no matter what!! Go thata!

Dawg, how the hell did we survive lockdown and kept our cars and homes? Let alone our minds. There must be a living God! I had no plan whatsoever. I am soo grateful to be here. Thank you, Jesus!
