At a temple in Andhra Pradesh, India, an enraged bride-to-be cut her fiance’s neck in order to murder him and cancel their supposed planned marriage.

Viyyapu Pushpa, 22, and Addepallu Ram Naidu, 28, were planning to marry on May 29.

The two families had agreed to an arranged marriage, therefore they were engaged.

The wedding, however, has been postponed after Pushpa admitted to attempting murder.

The shocking tragedy took place in the Indian state of Andhra Pradesh.

After lunch at Naidu’s residence, the pair proceeded to the temple in Amarapuri, according to local media.

On their way to the temple, the two were alleged to have stopped at a shop, where Pushpa bought a scarf and informed Naidu she had a surprise gift for him.
