Former soccer star and Brazilian legend, Ronaldo Nazario is hipping praises to the current Barcelona manager, Xavi Hernandez after seeing their astonishing performance which resulted in a 4-0 defeat against Real Madrid during the Laliga El Clasico tie over the weekend.

Real Madrid at home soil was whipped by Barcelona after Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang’s brace and a goal each from Ronald Araujo and Ferran Torres.

Ronaldo, on the other hand, claimed he enjoyed watching LaLiga when Barcelona overcame Real Madrid at the Santiago Bernabeu, adding that the Blaugrana had progressed much since Xavi’s arrival.

Ronaldo, who had a productive season at the Nou Camp before moving on to have a wonderful five-year stay at Real Madrid, remarked to Barca TV (as reported by Forbes): “I watch Spanish football and I love it.”

With the addition of Xavi, Barca’s current situation has significantly improved. Now I’ve seen a wonderful squad in person, a highly aggressive and vertical club that pushes with Barca’s classic attributes.”

The two-time FIFA World Cup winner added: “Football is not as simple as people think. Managing a dressing room, managing people entails problems and you have to know how to manage them well. Xavi is doing very well.”
