Why I Did Not Release My Much Expected EP – Lady Du

Award-winning South African singer has given an update to her fans on reasons why she did not release her much expected studio project.

The singer said she has been going through a lot and haven’t been herself.

Lady Du had yesterday opened up on how her manager rips her off what she deserves to get from her career.

In a tweet she made yesterday, Lady Du revealed how her manager takes cash from promoters and still tells people that she is unavailable for bookings.

The Amapiano vocalist cried out as her manager is fraudulent.

The manager gives people false details and goes on to collect money from Du’s promoters.

Disclosing a lot and going through her for some time now, the singer made a lengthy post on her Instagram page.

“I have a catalog that has sooo many hits, I’ve missed out on serious opportunities but that’s ok, that’s in the past now, I don’t ever cry for things that I can’t control. I’d like to ask you to directly send requests to the number on my bio, or the email on my wall. I’m sorry I didn’t drop my EP, I was going through a lot, I’m sorry I haven’t been myself, but after today, we move differently”

“I have worked days and nights trying to build myself, I have never been helped financially, I don’t have industry connections, I have genuinely built a career for myself that is run by the people, you guys have made me who I am today. It’s sad that at times we have to smile but we have actually broken beings. we have to give hugs to people when we actually need them ourselves”
