A similar fire outbreak occurred near that region in December of last year, destroying properties worth millions of dollars.
An empty business structure near the Sahara on Las Vegas Boulevard was affected.
The incident occurred at a vacant structure near Las Vegas Boulevard and Sahara Avenue in the 2100 block of Paradise Road.
According to Las Vegas Fire & Rescue, the fire is now in a vacant commercial structure with a mix of one and two stories that has previously burned.
Fire & Rescue spokesperson Tim Szymanski said in a statement that the fire had progressed to the point where workers couldn’t enter the structure due to concerns about its structural stability.
