JUST IN: Structure fire on Sahara Ave WB at Commercial Center

Investigators are still trying to figure out what caused a fire at Sahara Ave WB that destroyed a business center building.

On  Tuesday morning, at 5:47 a.m a fire broke out at Sahara Ave WB and Commercial Center Dr., many units were spotted responding to the scene of the fire outbreak.

According to reports, the highways surrounding the business district have been closed.

The roof has been ripped apart by flames, and rescuers have put up defensive measures.

A trash container inside the building, as well as several pallets, were on fire, according to Szymanski. The company was closed at the time, and the fire was reported in by parking enforcement police on patrol.

There have been no reported injuries.

A similar fire outbreak occurred near that region in December of last year, destroying properties worth millions of dollars.

An empty business structure near the Sahara on Las Vegas Boulevard was affected.

The incident occurred at a vacant structure near Las Vegas Boulevard and Sahara Avenue in the 2100 block of Paradise Road.

According to Las Vegas Fire & Rescue, the fire is now in a vacant commercial structure with a mix of one and two stories that has previously burned.

Fire & Rescue spokesperson Tim Szymanski said in a statement that the fire had progressed to the point where workers couldn’t enter the structure due to concerns about its structural stability.
