 Is Manpreet leaving Emmerdale?

The latest spoiler of Emmerdale comes with its tense climax and suspense as Manpreet Sharma (Rebecca Sarker) is being kept captive by her sister Meena Jutla (Paige Sandhu).

Meena may have killed Manpreet, according to a cliffhanger in which she was seen injecting her sister with a hypodermic needle to put her unconscious.

Meena, on the other hand, had shackled Manpreet’s hands to the bedpost and gagged her as well in Wednesday’s episode, having only consented to loosen the gag if her sister swore she wouldn’t scream.

Manpreet’s attempt to act as though she had lost her memory after the Woolpack explosion was no match for Meena.

Meena was always one step ahead of the game, making sure Manpreet was released into her care.

Manpreet tried to contact Meena tonight, drugged, gagged, and bound, sure she was suffering a psychotic episode and needed assistance.

she chuckled, knowing full well that her sister had no idea what she was capable of.

She sat down and recalled her misdeeds and the individuals she had slain, telling her sister she’d only be taken seriously after the third round.

Meena proudly told Manpreet she was responsible for Leanna’s (Mimi Slinger) murder, revealing there was a gap between Nadine and her next target.

Meena then confessed she murdered Andrea (Anna Nightingale) and was largely responsible for the maze fire, adding to the tragedy.

She later confessed to Manpreet about murdering Ben (Simon Lennon) after he discovered video footage of her attempting to drown Victoria (Isabel Hodgins).

Manpreet was afraid for her life and worried if Meena would be the next victim.

With a glint in her eye, Manpreet realized she wasn’t going to die since Meena couldn’t murder her sister.

“You’re not pregnant and you never were,” Manpreet realised once her mouth was un-gagged, with Meena sniping: “Top of the class, as usual.”

Manpreet figured out that her sister would have planted drugs on Dawn Taylor too if she hadn’t turned up exactly when she did.

She tried to reason with her sibling, arguing: “You may be many things, Meena, but you’re not some cold-blooded killer. I think you may be having some sort of psychotic episode, possibly not your first.”

Meena laughed in Manpreet’s face, then re-gagged her and admitted she was a bit insulted that her sister would put down her killing spree to a “psychotic episode”.

Meena then went into the village, where she issued a chilling warning to Vinny Dingle once she overheard he was trying to clear Liv Flaherty of Ben’s murder.

“You might just have to accept how things are. Because, well, if not, it might just destroy you,” she told him.

All throughout Wednesday’s episode, viewers also got brief scenes of Rishi trying to find Manpreet – without any luck. Finally, he managed to overhear Manpreet’s cries from upstairs in her room.

As he got Bob Hope to open her doors, Meena intercepted them before they could get inside to claim that Manpreet had gone to recuperate in Ibiza — and the noise Rishi had heard must have been Princess barking.

Meena then returned to Manpreet’s bedside to relive all of their old sisterly disagreements, leading up to Meena explaining why she’d killed her friend Nadine.

“You have no idea how hard that was for me, killing the best friend I ever had,” Meena insisted. “Nadine, Nadine, Nadine. They say you never forget your first.

“That’s the thing… Nadine may have been my first, but she certainly wasn’t my last.”

Manpreet was horrified as Meena explained she was trying to “open up” to her sister — she’d now reached the threshold of a serial killer with four murders (Nadine, Leanna, Andrea and Ben).

Manpreet listened in terror as Meena explained how she was “so ready” to kill Leanna in spite of the long gap between her first two murders.

“After Leanna, there was Andrea, Magic number-three,” Meena recalled with a perverse smile. “See, just before I killed her, she let off the flare gun that set off the fire in the maze. All to cover up my involvement.”

Meena even confessed she’d been caught on Ben’s camera trying to drown Victoria, so she resorted to killing him in order for her secret to stay sealed.

“You need help,” Manpreet desperately begged her sister. Meena then rose to her feet and menacingly warned: “Then, that makes two of us.”

Manpreet tried to get inside Meena’s head, suspecting that her sister couldn’t kill her so that’s why she’s holding her captive instead.

“Don’t you ever presume to know what I can and can’t do,” Meena demanded while grabbing Manpreet by the throat. “I can do anything I want! Don’t you see that yet? I’m unstoppable.”

Meena left Manpreet sobbing, insisting that they are “in this together now” that her sister knows about all of her murders.
