Who Is Kawin Thamsatchanan:

Kawin Thamsatchanan is a Thai professional footballer who plays goalkeeper for OH Leuven of Belgium’s First Division A and the Thailand national team.

Born in Bangkok, Thailand, on January 26, 1990. He started his junior career with Raj Pracha in 2006 and made his professional debut with the squad in 2007.

Muangthong United, the defending Thai division 2 winner, signed Kawin when he was 18 years old in 2008. He earned a spot in the first squad and helped Muangthong United win the division 1 title in his debut season with the club.

Following Muangthong’s elevation to the Thai Premier League for the 2009–2010 season, Kawin led the side to two consecutive titles in the top league, in 2009 and 2010.

Bryan Robson, a Manchester United great and Thailand’s national team head coach at the time, approached Eric Steele, United’s goalkeeping coach, in October 2010 and suggested that he check Kawin.

Kawin, on the other hand, injured his wrist and was forced to sit out for months, putting an end to his chances of being offered a trial at Manchester United.

Kawin collided with Chris Dickson during the opening of the 2013 season while participating in the 2013 Lunar New Year Cup. He shattered his shin and was sidelined for seven months. He dislocated his shoulder and tore ligaments in a match against TOT S.C. after returning to the play in the second leg of the Thai Premier League, terminating his season.

Kawin received his high school diploma from Assumption College Thonburi and his bachelor’s degree in business administration from Assumption University.

After a prominent Thai monk, V. Vachiramethi urged him to add two Thai alphabets to his name in September 2013, Kawin opted to modify his name from to. His new name denotes a powerful and outstanding guy.

Despite the change in his name, the word’s sound stays the same.

Kawin is buddies with Panupong Wongsa, and his inspirations are Oliver Kahn and Sinthaweechai Hathairattanakool, a former Thailand goalie. Kawin is a Buddhist who believes in the Buddha’s teachings.

Currently, Kawin Thamsatchanan is playing as a Goalkeeper with Oud-Heverlee Leuven and Thailand national football team his country’s football club.
