An apartment fire on 26th Street near Normal Avenue has created a big outbreak of tension, resulting in a large amount of smoke.

According to reports, a large amount of equipment is obstructing the 26th Street between Union and Canal, the 25th Place between Wallace and Canal, and both Normal and Wallace between 25th and 26th inside the roadways leading to the building.

Meanwhile, the footage from the fatal shooting of a 14-year-old girl in a shop dressing room has been published by the Los Angeles Police Department.

According to relatives, the 14-year-old victim Valentina Orellana-Peralta and her mother were praying in the changing room of a Los Angeles clothing store when a police officer’s bullet burst through a wall and killed her.

Valentina’s uncle, Rodrigo Orellana, told CNN affiliate Chilevision last week that the girl’s American dream had been snatched away from her.

“Everyone ran to the dressing rooms, and the bullet sadly found her,” he added. “They shot her while they were supposed to be the top police agency in the world.”
