Jackson and Bellevue Monday shooting, police investigates

A gunshot occurred early Monday at Jackson and Bellevue, and police were on the scene.

One individual was seen being transported away by ambulance from a petrol station on the corner by our crews.

The glass seems to have been blasted out of a car in the parking lot, according to police.

Similarly, a shooting on Interstate 40 in Chelsea resulted in the deaths of two men and the critical condition of a lady on Christmas morning.

Officers arrived at 1:52 a.m. on Saturday. Two male victims died at the site, while a female victim was transported to Methodist Hospital.

Still, on the subject of crime, Memphis Police named two men slain in a shooting on Monday as Donte Smith and Derick King.

They were driving a silver 2013 Honda Accord with tinted windows and Texas license plates, according to the cops.
