Florida Gators beat reporter, Nick De La Torre in a new update through his official Twitter page said he spoke with someone close to the Ropper family and it’s confirmed that Robbie has not passed on but he is in a bad state.

Robbie Roper who hails from Roswell (GA) is an underrated 2022 passer whose recruitment is just beginning to take off. Robbie Roper was named the 2021 Region 5-AAAAAA All-Region Football Team offensive player of the year.

Roper finished a workout tape for O’Hara the same day the coach asked for it, working until midnight at the Carrollton High School practice facility in Georgia to make sure he did his best work.

In exchange, O’Hara provided some feedback and instructions, making a positive impression on Roper and assisting him in realizing that he would like to be taught by him at the next level.

Roper has drawn interest from colleges across the country, including Ole Miss, Pittsburgh, Connecticut, TCU, Michigan, North Carolina, and Massachusetts, following a breakout season in his second year as a starter, in which the 6-foot-4, 215-pound quarterback threw for over 3,000 yards, 37 touchdowns, and seven interceptions against Georgia’s 7A level talent.

Don Brown, the head coach at UMass, just offered Roper a scholarship.

Roper plans to meet with the coaching staff at Ole Miss and UConn in the near future, and he hopes to travel to Florida in January.
