His past five Premier League starts have yielded six goals.
“We rely on him [Mason Mount] because he plays in an offensive position,”
Tuchel was quoted by Chelsea’s official website as saying ahead of the Blues Premier League tie with Everton on Thursday.
“He needs to be decisive and assist and score because he has the technique, the ability and the movement to do so. It’s about timing, acceleration and knowing where and when to arrive in the box.
“It’s about connections between Reece and him most of the time, depending on which side he plays. We cannot be surprised that sometimes in the careers of young players, they have difficult moments. That’s why they are young players, and why their careers are at the beginning and not the end.”
