A mother of 9-year-old boy Fay Gardner has been called out by critics for saying that her son Cadyn wants to be UK’s youngest drag queen, the said that the young dude is too tender to engage in such career.

Mrs Fay said her son who is 9-year-old is the UK’s youngest drag queen.

‘My son, 9, is UK’s youngest drag queen – he’s a star and I couldn’t be prouder’

She said her son Cadyn first dressed in drag when he was nine years old. Now at secondary school, he’s pursuing his dream of becoming a drag queen, despite what some people say.

Cadyne according to his mother first put make up on in November 2019 when he was nine years old after watching RuPaul’s Drag Race – calling himself Dezaray Star.

The 34-year-old mum says she “couldn’t be prouder” of her son for expressing himself, but she’s had abuse from people online who say she shouldn’t allow him to dress in drag, accusing her of wanting to be ‘TikTok famous’.

However, Fay, from Ware, Hertfordshire, reckons there’s “no age limit” to doing drag, and urges critics to “let kids be kids.”

She claims that, despite being bullied at school, Cadyn is determined to pursue his passion of becoming a drag queen.

Fay said: “My son love to inspire others that age to get into drag. His little brother did it with him a few times and they had the greatest time.”
