“3 women confirmed dead after a drive-by shooting in Inanda” – KwaZulu-Natal South Africa police says

Police in KwaZulu-Natal South Africa is carrying out an investigation following a drive-by shooting in Inanda that left three women dead.

According to reports, the police say they can confirm that the three women were members of the African National Congress. Police say the motive for the shooting is unknown at this stage. #DStv403 #eNCA pic.twitter.com/rxzgzpi6Cc

eNCA confirmed that the three women were members of the African National Congress.

ANC KZN provincial secretary Mdumiseni Ntuli told eNCA the shooting took place during the ward 54 branches general meeting.

Five people have been wounded.

Police spokesperson Jay Naicker says the motive for the shooting is unknown at this stage.

KwaZulu-Natal Premier Sihle Zikalala is calling for quick police action.
