South Africa to start issuing digital vaccine certificates for covid-19

South African Health Minister, Joe Phaahla on Friday revealed that processes are underway to develop a digital vaccine certificate for covid-19 in the country.
Speaking with the media Mr Joe said vaccinated people will be able to access this in the coming weeks.
But, he is warning against people creating fake certificates.
So far South Africa has administered over 14-million doses.
He said: – “And this certificate will be able to be uploaded on your smartphone and it can be printable,” said Phaahla.
“This initiative we must also mention that it is in line with the World Health Organisation initiated vaccination certificate.”
