Coming Back To Coach Arsenal Again? Here’s What Wenger Said

Legendary Arsenal manager, Arsene Wenger, has stated that there is no possibility of him taking over the coaching job of Arsenal again as he is now only a fan.

The Frenchman said the team has potential and he is hopeful they will bounce back from their opening three defeats.

Arsenal is rock bottom in the Premier League on a -9 goal difference, after losing to Brentford, Chelsea and Manchester City.

The current manager, Mikel Arteta, has been hamstrung by some injuries to first-team players as well as multiple COVID cases and has not been able to field anything close to his strongest XI.

Arsenal will be back in action after the international break against Norwich City, who are also winless this season, and there are already suggestions the match could be a must-win game for Arteta.

Wenger told BILD LIVE: “Today the club is in good shape.

“They had two tough games [against Chelsea and Manchester City], the team has potential and I hope they can come back.”

When asked if he would consider returning to the Emirates to help out, he replied: “I’m 71. I’ve given this club the best years of my life. At the moment I’m just a fan.”
