TV and Radio producer, Msizi Nkosi Has Passed Away



Popular South African writer  TV & Radio personality, Msizi Nkosi has reportedly passed away at the age of 34. According to reports, the former Ukhozi FM Mroza Buthelezi show Nethezeka Nokhozi’s producer & SABC1’s talk show Daily Thetha Head of Content lost his life in a fatal car accident.

The news of his death was confirmed in an official press release by EDking Lifestyle.

Excerpts from the press release read below:-

It is with great sadness to inform you of the untimely passing of our beloved and admired brother, friend and colleague, Mr Msizi Edgra Nkosi.

He passed away today, the 15th of August 2021.

Sadly, Msizi was involved in a car accident and unfortunately, he did not survive.

The Nkosi Family would like to be given time to process this loss and request some privacy.

Msizi Nkosi Last Post On Facebook

In his last post on Facebook before his sudden demise, Mkosi talked about marriage.

The post read – Even if I get married and am 55 years old I want you to say, “It was so good for the kids”, do you hear?

Who Is Msizi Nkosi?

Msizi Nkosi was a popular South African writer, TV and radio producer.

He worked on several shows on both radio and television, such as Daily Thetha which aired on SABC 1, and a show on Ukhozi FM.

Msizi Nkosi will remember how he turned around Ukhozi Fm drive show, Woza Nabangani Bakho, hosted by Selby and Tshatha. He was moved to produce the midday show, Nethezeka Nokhozi that was hosted by Nonhlanhla Mroza Buthelezi.

Known to be the best selling author of ‘I’m A Different Mess Than I Was Yesterday’.

Msizi’s book “I’m A Different Mess Than I Was Yesterday” was about his personal struggles with alcohol addiction. The book was all about his humble childhood in KwaZulu-Natal to his fast-paced lifestyle in Johannesburg’s entertainment world.
