It has been confirmed on social media that popular South African music producer and singer, Killer Kau has unexpectedly and tragically passed away at the age of 23 alongside another music producer identified as Mpura Mpura.
According to a source who talked to Sunday World, Killer Kau was involved in a car incident last night with his friend & music partner Mpura who also passed away in the fatal incident while on their way to a gig in Rustenburg.
Sources claimed the music artist known for producing amapiano hit records lost his life in a tragic accident also involving another music producer, Mpura Mpura.
Lady Du also confirmed on an Instagram post.
Reacting to Mpura’s death, Riky Rick wrote on his Instagram page:- Rest In Peace our @mpura_mpura 🕊 You were the happiest person in every room, your spirit was what we needed in our lives, selfless, humble and loving. Love you so much, my brother. Thank you for everything you did while you were still here. Gonna miss you so much, bro. I’m sorry, your journey had to end like this. Killer Kau rose to the limelight of the SA entertainment following the release of his hit single “Tholu Ukuthi” in 2017 while he was doing his Grade 10.
Born and raised in Soweto, Killer kau whose real name is Sakhile Hlatswayo began in music career when he was still a teen. At the early stage of his life, He sang baritone in the Stay PC Church Choir and was a member of the African Heavenly Soul Singers male choir.
