CNN Correspondent, Maribel Aber looses mum



CNN Correspondent, Maribel Aber has lost her mother, Lourdes Fangonil Alacbay.

The beautiful business correspondent for CNN Newsource made this known through her Instagram page on Wednesday evening.

She said: “It is with a heavy heart, that I share the news of the passing of my mother, Lourdes Fangonil Alacbay. My family and I take comfort in knowing that she is at peace, as she joins members of the family and dear friends that have passed before her.”

Maribel shared a throwback picture of her late mum and the rest of her family with the caption;

“My family and I would like to thank you all for the overwhelming outpouring of love and support through this difficult time.

We appreciate every single note, comment, and gesture — surrounding us with so much love and given us much comfort.”

Maribel Aber has been a correspondent for CNN’s Money Matters. previously she took over the position as the chief of staff for the vice-chairman of NASDAQ.

She joined CNN in 2012, leaving her job as anchor of PBS’ Wall Street Week.
