Young Boxer, Frank Vary Has Passed Away

Information reaching our news desk has it that young talented England boxer, Frank Vary has sadly and unexpectedly passed away at the age of 16. The news of his death was confirmed in a series of social media posts by online users.

Circumstances surrounding his death has not been made known to the public but sources revealed that Frank was drowned to death in a lake.

Frank Varey said to be in his 16’s competed at the Riviera Box Cup in Torquay. Varey’s final at the competition had the attention of everyone at the venue and was up against his England team-mate, Muhammad Ali, with both boxers looking to take the 52kg slot.

Varey boxed outstandingly in the final and was too sharp for Ali, winning by a unanimous decision, as well as taking the tournament’s best junior boxer award.

He won the best junior boxer award.

The St Pauls Antrim A.B.C Club took to their official Facebook page to announce the death news of Frank while penning down their heartfelt tribute to the young boxer’s family.

As Posted On Their Facebook Page:- It is with great sadness to learn of the untimely death of one England boxing superstar in the ring Young Frankie Varey. Rest in peace Frank Varey, condolences to his family, friends & sharp style boxing club prays are with you all from myself and everyone at St Paul’s boxing club Belfast. He had the privilege of sharing the ring with our own talent Dylan Eagleson.

Also reacting to Frank’s sad demise the Rhoose Boxing Club described him as a very promising young boxer who was one of England, Britain and Europe’s number one.

It is with great sadness that we say goodbye to one of our England boxes, Frank Varey who sadly passed away this afternoon after he drowned in the Cheshire river. Frank used to come to the gym with his father every summer to spar the boys and gain experience, he was a very promising young boxer as he was England’s number one, as well as Britain’s and Europe’s number one as well. Frank will very much be in our thoughts and so will his family and friends. RIP Frank
