American Heavy Metal Singer, Mike Howe Dies At 55



It has been confirmed on social media that a popular American singer who was part of Metal Church has sadly passed away at the age of 55. According to the information posted by the Metal Church, Mike Howe died in the early hours of today at the residence in Eureka, California.

His cause of death was not disclosed to the public.

Born on August 21, 2021, Mike started off his musical career as a singer for a Detroit band called Hellion and thereafter left the band group for Heretic. Howe was part of the Heretic team who aided the release of the band’s sole full-length album, “Breaking Point” in 1988.

Howe stayed a little while at Heretic before joining the Metal church where he recorded three albums, however, he left the Metal band following its break up.

According to Howe in during an interview with Loudwire, he left the metal band because of the business of music and how difficult it was navigating management, record companies and outside forces that were ruining the band. He said he felt damaged about music leaving the Metal Church.

The Metal Church took to their official Facebook page to announce the sad demise of Mike Howe whom they described as a true legend of the band group.

Mike Howe passed away this morning at his home in Eureka, California. We are devastated and at a loss for words.
