Today the world lost a wonderful guy. Jeff LaBar. Jeff, I always enjoyed getting to talk to you and know you. I have some great memories and remember us talking when you would be in Indy and also when we would be in Nashville and at our mutual friend Zach’s wedding. Through you, I met your son Sebastian LaBar. A hell of a great dude and a super talented musician in his own right. I could see how proud he made you. Jeff, I will never forget the piece of advice you gave me. It is a piece of advice that I have even passed on to some people and I thank you so much for that. I will hold on to that and all the good memories even closer now. Especially that first picture of you, Sebastian LaBar, Jennifer Elwell and me.

Jeff, you were not only inspiring to me musically but also culinary as well. I will miss seeing the dishes and videos you would post. I never could make them look as good as you did! This doesn’t seem real. I don’t know what else to say.
