South African football team has added 3 new players to their squad amid COSAFA Cup in Gqeherba.

The news made known on Friday, Baroka’s Vusi Sibiya, Mamelodi Sundowns’ Lebohang Maboe, and Victor Letsoalo from Bloemfontein Celtic where the 3 players called into the national team’s camp.

Bafana Bafana is leading Group A with maximum points from their opening two matches after wins over Botswana (1-0) and Eswatini (1-0).

They have had to make do without head coach Helman Mkhalele and goalkeeper coach Lucky Shiburi following their isolation after positive Covid-19 tests.

Meanwhile, Vela Khumalo has been brought in as assistant to Morena Ramoreboli with goalkeeper coach Thembalethu Moses also added to beef up the management team.
