Former  49ers Tight End Greg Clark might have passed away yesterday according to reports gathered from a source.

Though the news hasn’t been confirmed yet. Greg played TE with 49ers from 1997-2000.

Though not yet confirm this the people close to him who played with him can’t get ahold of him.

According to another source, it is reported that Greg passed away from an apparent suicide on Wednesday, July 7th.

I have one concrete source that has confirmed the news to go along with the social media post left by his family members.

Clark was a tight-end for the Stanford Cardinal prior to his 5 year career in the NFL with the 49ers. He completed his career with 92 receptions, 909 receiving yards, and 4 touchdowns.

He also caught two TDs in the classic 1998-99 playoff game against Green Bay which is famous for “The Catch” by Terrell Owens.

Greg Clark will be missed and our thoughts and prayers are with his family.
