Nasty C Is A Rapper Not An Afrobeat Singer – Burna Boy
Nigerian superstar and Grammy award-winning singer, Burna Boy have cleared the air on the music genre South African rapper fits in.
The singer who said he would put his money on Nasty C over any American rapper during an interview thrashed the claims by some people that the rapper is an Afrobeat artist.
Burna Boy stated that being a musician from Africa doesn’t make anyone an afrobeat musician.
“Yeah, everything is now Afrobeat. Nasty C is a rapper and because he is from Africa, people will now say Afrobeat. But he is a rapper. I’ll put my money on him over almost any American rapper,” the ‘Twice as Tall’ crooner bragged.
