Plane Crash In Eastern DR Congo Leaves 3 Dead

At least no fewer than persons lost their lives when a small plane crash-landed after taking off in the Eastern Democratic Republic of Congo on Wednesday.

Reports from Authorities said the plane was carrying two pilots and passengers aboard when the tragic incident happened near Kavumu airport around 12:pm, which serves Bukavu, the capital of South Kivu province.

Reuters witness also said the first responders in fluorescent bibs picked through the crumpled wreckage in the middle of a large field

“I confirm the crash. There were three people on board who all died,” South Kivu Governor Theo Kasi told Reuters.
