Indian choreographer and television personality Geeta Kapoor rumored dead

Rumours are going around social media is that an Indian choreographer and television personality has died.

The news about Geeta dying is completely not true to a large extent a hoax.

She just posted a picture of her on her Instagram page with the caption: “Verified Ready set shoot … #superdancerchapter4″ which is concrete proof that she is not dead.

Geeta Kapoor is known for her work in Hindi films, as well as one of the judges.

Recently, choreographer Geeta Kapur took to social media and informed everyone that her mother has passed away.

Geeta’s mother breathed her last on January 12, 2021, and today, after a month, Geeta has shared the sad news. Geeta penned an emotional note and also shared a lovely photo of her mother. Geeta shared that they had kept everything “quiet and extremely private” due to the COVID-19 situation.

She started the note by saying “And just like that it’s been a month already … for those who knew her, loved her will know she had a tough journey these past few years but has finally found peace…she is on her best journey forward and I ask u all to keep her In ur prayers always just like she did for all those who came in contact with her.. #RANIKAPUR. BORN: 04/03/50. DEPARTED: 12/01/21.”

She started her career when she joined the troupe of noted Bollywood choreographer Farah Khan at the age of 15. later she assisted Farah Khan in many films, including Kuch Kuch Hota Hai, Dil Toh Pagal Hai, Kabhi Khushi Kabhi Gham, Mohabbatein, Kal Ho Na Ho, Main Hoon Na, and Om Shanti Om, and the musical Bombay Dreams (2004).

Geeta led choreography in many Bollywood films, including Fiza (2000), Asoka (2001), Saathiya (2002), Heyy Babyy (2007), Thoda Pyaar Thoda Magic (2008), Aladin (2009), Tees Maar Khan’s Sheila Ki Jawani’ (2010), Tere Naal Love Ho Gaya (2011), and Shirin Farhad Ki Toh Nikal Padi (2012).

She has also choreographed award ceremonies and concerts like Temptation Reloaded, and has also choreographed the opening ceremony of Pepsi IPL 2013.
