“Sales of Alcohol for both off-site and on-site prohibited” – President Cyril Ramaphosa

South Africa govt is set to into another new level of lockdown.
President Cyril Ramaphosa on Sunday during a media briefing made it clear that the sale of alcohol for both off-site and on-site consumption is prohibited for 14 days.
He made the announcement on Sunday after revealing that the country will move into level 4 lockdown.
He says this is to ease pressure on hospitals, The president also said there will be a nationwide curfew from 9 pm to 4 am.
South Africa moves to adjusted alert level 4 of the lockdown from Monday morning.
Speaking on Sunday, President Cyril Ramaphosa said the country will be moving into level 4 lockdown to adjust the country’s measure towards controlling the increase on covid-19 in the country, the lockdown is scheduled to begin from Monday morning.
The country has recorded over 15,000 new COVID-19 cases in the last 24 hours.
The NICD said 122 COVID-19 related deaths have also been recorded.
