31-Year-Old Woman Fatally Stabbed By An Unknown Man In Chicago



31-year-old Anat Kimichi has been identified as the woman who was fatally stabbed to death by an unknown man on South Wacker Drive in Chicago, Sunday afternoon.

According to the police, the woman was on a sidewalk at about 4 p.m. in the area of South Wacker Drive and West Van Buren Street when an unknown man walked towards her and pulled out a knife, stabbed her in the back before dashing out in thin air.

The report says the woman was rushed to the hospital where she died from the injuries she sustained from the stabbing.

While reacting to the tragic incident, the Police Supt, David Brown, said the stabber was believed to be a homeless man and are currently investigating the matter.

Investigators are reviewing surveillance videos and at least one witness is cooperating with investigators, “We are utilizing all of the resources that we have, Brown to Journalists.

The Victim Anat Kimchi was a doctoral student of the University of Maryland studying criminology.

University of Maryland Releases Statement

The University of Maryland has released a statement about the sudden demise of Ana Kimchi who tragically passed away on June 20 2021.

As quoted from the statment, the university revealed that Anat was already a notably accomplished scholar who dared his family and friends.
