England Vs Scotland – EURO 2020: Coming From The Back & Doing Nothing – Roy Keane Speaks On Declan Rice Performance



Manchester United legend, Roy Keane, has made a comment on West Ham United midfielder, Declan Rice, performance for England in their Euro 2020 match against Scotland which ended in a 1-1 draw.

The former soccer star who seems not satisfied with England results so far in the ongoing EURO 2020 tournament said Declan was not creating passes enough to put his team through.

Roy stated this during ITV’s live soccer programme. further speaking on the outcome of the match, Roy said England were all taking too many touches at the back without pushing forward to break the defensive side of Scotland.

“Rice is coming back, doing nothing. He is coming back and giving sideways passes. Not good enough.”

England’s next game is against the Czech Republic on Tuesday.

Though England coach had said that the result has put them through the round of 16, Three Lions are currently in the second position in Group D with four points from two games.
