Information reaching our news desk has it that popular gospel star, Javier Galvan is very much alive but still fighting for his life. Sources say the Tejano and Gospel recording star JAVIER GALVAN is recovering in a hospital from the injuries he sustained after a tragic car accident that took the lives of three members of the Ramos family.
The incident was said to have happened near Winters, Texas, Sunday night.
According to reports from Authorities, Galvan was driving an SUV and was travelling east on SH 153 when his vehicle came in head to head collision with an SUV driven by Marisa B who had five occupant in the car.
On interception with Ramos’s Car, the SUV went into flames. it was reported that Ramos and two of her passengers, Cissy L. Ramos and Adalynn R. Muniz, 7, both of Plainview died at the scene of the crash while the other passengers said to be in critical condition were rushed to hospital for emergency treatment.
The authorities are investigating the incident and hopefully release an update on it soon.
Galvan is the Founder and Vocalist of Grupo Fama, a musical group he founded in 1989 with two of his brothers, Oscar and Edgar. The band’s popularity grew in the mid-1980s. Following their musical success at the time, the band was nicknamed “The Golden Boys” by Tejano Music DJs.
While still with the Fama group, Javier in 2007 Javier won “Mejor Vocalista Masculino”. Following the retirement from Fama, he left the group In August 2009 Javier Galvan and handed over the Fama name to John Barraza and Eddie Dominguez.
