I Feel Better Now.., Won’t Give Up – Christian Eriksen

Denmark midfielder, Christian Eriksen has raised hope high as he gives an update for the first time after his unexpected cardiac arrest during their Euro 2021 match against Finland, Saturday evening.

Recall that the 29-year-old soccer star collapsed untouched on the pitch at the half play of their match against Finland. The incident resulted in the indefinite suspension of the match in what UEFA described as “Sudden Medical Emergency”.

With the help of medics who took swift action by performing a CPR on Christian, he was revived back and later transferred to the hospital.

Though there are speculations from medical personnel that Christian Eriksen football professional football career may no longer continue but the star has affirmed that he won’t give up.

Giving a fresh update about his health status in a statement via his manager to the Italian newspaper La Gazzetta dello Sport, Eriksen said: “Thank you, I won’t give up.

“I feel better now – but I want to understand what has happened.

“I want to say thank you all for what you did for me.”
