Kalembe Ndile – Kenya Politician



Who is Kalembe Ndile

Kalembe was born in 1964 in Kibwezi West MP, Aged 56.

Unfortunately, Kalembe was pronounced dead on the 30th of May 2021 after a brief illness that got him admitted to Nairobi hospital where he died.

He is a graduate of Political Science, a Bachelor degree holder in Arts and Literature.

He was the Former Kibwezi West MP.

Kalembe Death & Illness

Ndile’s family said Sunday that he died while receiving treatment at the Nairobi Hospital.

His nephew Nzioki Kimilu, who was with him in hospital following his admission on Wednesday, said he was under treatment for complications related to pancreatic cancer.

Mr Kimilu told the Nation that the former legislator died at 5am.

In his condolence message, President Uhuru Kenyatta described Ndile as a witty, determined and practical politician whose rise in life was as a result of sheer hard work.

“It is unfortunate that death has taken from us the Hon Kalembe Ndile in his prime. He was a lively politician who loved and worked with everyone, and always held the interests of the country at heart,” Mr Kenyatta said.

The head of State recalled his interactions with the politician over the years, saying he excelled as a fighter for human rights, especially the right to access land.

“With the death of Mheshimiwa Kalembe, our country has lost an astute fighter for human rights. We all remember how passionately he fought [to relieve] the plight of squatters in the country.”

President Uhuru Kenyatta in his condolence described Ndile as a witty, determined and practical politician whose rise in life was as a result of sheer hard work.

Kalembe Ndile – Political Career And Positions

Kalembe Ndile is a Kenyan politician, born on 16th April 1964. His full name is Kalembe Richard Ndile.

He has been a member of the Coalition for Reforms and Democracy party.

His Current Political Positions Are:-

Kalembe became a member of the Coalition party on 13th February 2013

A member of The Independent Party

He was the Executive director at the Nguluwa Ngao Center for Human Rights.

Former Councillor Programme Officer at the Makueni Paralegal Coordinating Agency from 1997 to 2002.

Kalembe has been a Catholic Parish Treasurer from 1996 to 2002.

H was made the Chairman of Makueni County Council from 1997 t0 1999.

He was an Aspirant MP 1st June 2017 → 8th August 2017 for Mavoko of Jubilee Party.

Kalembe was an Aspirant MP 8th February 2013 → 4th March 2013 for Kibwezi West of Republic of Kenya

Took over the position of Assistant Minister for Tourism & Wildlife 2006 → 2007 of Cabinet.

Currently, he is a member of Coalition party of Kenya.
