Journalist David Larimer Has Passed Away

David Larimer from Montana who worked with the Washington Post has sadly passed away. The news of his death was made known to the public through a series of posts on Social Media. David Larimer died today May 16 2021, circumstances surrounding his death remain unknown.

Confirming the news of David’s death, The Washington Post Senior Washington Correspondent, Philip Rucker in a series wrote – David Larimer, a beloved sports editor, has died suddenly, just shy of celebrating his 25th anniversary at the Wash Post. He leaves behind the talented Terri Rupar, a Post veteran now at 19th news, and their beautiful daughter, Matilda.

David Larimer was an assignment editor in The Washington Post’s Sports department, focused primarily on college sports and soccer. He had worked as the department’s night editor and copy chief, as well as a night editor and copy editor on the Foreign desk.
