Tributes Pour In After Ally Sidlowski Demise

The social media yesterday was filtered with all across Ohio after the sudden death of University of Cincinnati Bearcats soccer player, Ally Sidlowski. Ally was reported to have passed away at the age of 21.

The University of Cincinnati confirmed the news of her in an official statement released through their website.

She lost her life in a drowning accident over the weekend.

Information from authorities revealed that Sidlowski had been spotted hanging onto a swim platform of a boat before she dipped underwater.

Her body was found early Sunday morning. Officials say she was not wearing a life jacket.

Reactions To Ally’s Death

Reacting to her death Cinnannti university head coach, Neil Stafford said Ally was a pillar to everything good about their program.

“I am absolutely crushed for the Sidloski family, our soccer team and the University,” “There are no words for dealing with a tragedy on this scale. Ally was such a pillar of everything that’s right about our program.”

The Stronsville Soccer Club wrote – We’re deeply saddened to lose one of our own. Ally grew up playing in our programs and we couldn’t think of a better representation of our community and organization than Ally. Our thoughts and prayers are with the Sidloski family, friends, and her teammates, past & present.

Who Is Ally Sidlowski?

Ally Sidlowski was one of the University of Cincinnati Bearcats soccer players who tragically lost her life in a boating accident at East Fork Lake.

She competed for a pair of club sides, including Cleveland FC (2010-17) and Ambassadors FC (2017-18), with Cleveland FC, her team captured seven Ohio state championships in a row (2011-17).

Sidloski made two-match appearances in 2019 which was the final two of the seasons.

She made her collegiate debut in a scoreless home draw with ECU, logging 40 minutes on the day, Ally also logged 10 minutes against SMU in the opening round of the AAC Tournament.

She earned Academic All-AAC honours following that season.

Ally sidoski was a four-year member of the varsity soccer team, playing the first three years before an injury sidelined her senior campaign.

She made a three-time All-Greater Cleveland Conference selection, including the first team as a junior.
