We are remembring Joshua, a  boy killed in a hit and run as people pray for his family

Joshua was identified as a 15-year-old boy who lost his life in a hit and runs in Wirral around April 2021.

Reports say emergency services were called to Manor Drive in Upton at around 9.45 pm following reports of a collision between a bicycle and a car.

The road was closed and earlier today Merseyside Police confirmed the death of a 15-year-old and that the driver of the car did not stop at the scene.

A 22-year-old man suspected of being the driver has since been arrested.

Witnesses at the scene of the crash spoke to the ECHO of their shock and deep sadness, one woman was in tears as she told how she “felt helpless” as she rushed to help the boy.
