Victim Of East Fork Lake Drowning Incident Identified

The victim of a drowning incident in East Fork Lake has been identified as 21-year-old Ally Sidloski.

Reports from Authorities say Allan was seen hanging onto the swim platform of a boat before she went underwater Saturday evening.

According to Ohio Department of Natural Resources Spokesperson Stephanie O’Grady, Allan who was not wearing a life jacket before the incident drowned in East Fork Lake.

Crews who arrived at the scene of the incident recovered her lifeless body just after 1 a.m.

The ODNR is still investigating the incident and will update the public as soon as more information is gathered.

From the brief information we gathered from the social media, Allan was a four-year member of the Gobearcats varsity soccer team who played the first three years before an injury sidelined her senior campaign.

Allan competed for a pair of club sides, including Cleveland FC (2010-17) and Ambassadors FC (2017-18), with Cleveland FC, her team captured seven Ohio state championships in a row (2011-17).

Ally Sidloski made two-match appearances in 2019 which was the final two of the seasons.

She made her collegiate debut in a scoreless home draw with ECU, logging 40 minutes on the day, Ally also logged 10 minutes against SMU in the opening round of the AAC Tournament.

She earned Academic All-AAC honours following that season.

Ally was a four-year member of the varsity soccer team, playing the first three years before an injury sidelined her senior campaign.

She made a three-time All-Greater Cleveland Conference selection, including the first team as a junior.

She helped the team to a pair of district championships where her team finished 18-1-1 junior season, going undefeated in the regular season and sharing the conference crown, also competed for a pair of club sides, including Cleveland FC (2010-17) and Ambassadors FC (2017-18) with Cleveland FC, her team captured seven Ohio state championships in a row (2011-17).
