Man Set To Baptize His New Born Baby Killed In Fulton River District Crash

A 32-year-old man who was set to baptize his newborn baby on Sunday morning has tragically lost his life in a crash in Chicago, Friday night.

The victim of the crash identified as Alan Nunez was driving a 2007 Suzuki when a 38-year-old man driving a Jeep Grand Cherokee crossed the centre line of West Grand Avenue in the Fulton River District.

According to the police, Alan was rushed to Stronger Hospital but unfortunately succumbed to the injuries he sustained in the crash.

The driver of the Jeep was cited for failure to obey a yield sign, driving without a license and failure to reduce speed, police said.

Alan Nunez was a physical education at Lincoln park high school. In 2012 he graduated with a Bachelor of Education, Health and Physical Education/fitness degree from Northern Illinois University.
